Highway 23 in Foley reopens to all travelers
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Highway 23 in Foley, Benton County, is open to all travelers, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Highway 23 has been closed from Broadway Avenue South to Benton County Road 6 to replace a box culvert between Lord Avenue and 13th Avenue, pave the new multi-use trail and complete concrete sidewalks and curb/gutter in Foley. The work was part of last year’s roadwork project that was delayed due to material shortages.
Motorists may continue to encounter periodic lane or shoulder closures with flaggers between Foley and Milaca as crews wrap up work on the project. Watch for workers and navigate through the work zone with care.
MnDOT thanks the community for their patience during this Highway 23 project that provides a smoother road surface, updated drainage and improved motorist and pedestrian safety.
