CAV
CAV is MnDOT’s Connected and Automated Vehicle Office responsible for convening the state’s connected and automated vehicle (CAV) Transportation technology engagement, policy, testing and partnerships.
CAV is supporting the work of a broad coalition that includes representatives from government, private industry, advocacy groups and academia collaborating to plan and prepare for connected and automated vehicles. People also play an important role in shaping how Minnesota’s partners implement CAV technology, through program and project level input and decision-making opportunities.
This coalition focuses on developing policies, programs and infrastructure to maximize the benefits of connected and automated vehicles for all Minnesotans by observing trends and advancements in vehicle automation, connected vehicle technology, and other emerging trends.
