Scope is unclear at this point, but there is currently a traffic study underway to determine the recommended intersection control at Cloquet Avenue and Carlton Avenue. The public will be able to provide feedback at different points in the study.

MnDOT hosted a public meeting on May 9, 2024, to talk about recommended alternatives at the Cloquet Avenue and Carlton Avenue intersections. Enhanced signal lights have been recommended for both intersections. For those who missed the meeting, a narrated presentation can be viewed below, along with display boards of the project.
